But if I default to using the windows sound drivers then Studio One and Notion 6 seem to work, but this doesn't seem right or optimal. There is no sound and no movement in either Studio One or Notion 6. Windows 10 Professional 64bit / Version 20H2 Build 19042.867 Answer (1 of 4): I’ve spent enough time getting my PC to work well enoug to offer some suggestions even though I barely understand why low latency audio on a PC is so convoluted compared to a Mac. There are two advantages: Speed: ASIO drivers (in general) allow lower CPU overhead and lower buffer settings than the standard Windows ('Primary Sound Driver', WDM Driver). The FL Studio installation includes a 3rd party ASIO driver ASIO4ALL. I am using Studio One 5 (upgrade from Artist (and not professional)), ASIO4ALL : 3rd party ASIO driver for FL Studio (System Settings).
